If you are in Havana and would like to make a day trip to Viñales, this is the tour for you! A taxi will pick you up in Havana and bring you 2.5 hours west to Viñales where you will have a whole day packed full of activities including:

• Hotel Los Jazmines (world renowned panoramic view of the valley),
• The Indian Cave (Cuevo del Indio), including a boat trip through the cave and underground river,
• La Mural Prehistoria in Dos Hermañas Valley (includes piña colada),
• An hour on horseback through the valley,

In this tour we visit the most beautiful attractions in Viñales including: the Indian Cave (Cuevo del Indio), a Tobacco farm where you get to taste the cigars and coffee of the region, El Jardin de Caridad, a beautiful botanical garden to learn about the flowers, fruits, and trees of the region, Mirador Los Jazmines, and an organic farm with a lookout to the Silence Valley. In this tour we'll visit  the most beautiful places in Vinales and your guide will teach you about the caves, tobacco, coffee, and local flora and fauna. The tour will conclude at an ecological farm where you will get to enjoy the ecologically grown vegetables and fruits for lunch.

Note: This tour is not physically strenuous and is recommended for guests of all ages, sizes, and abilities. 

Our taxi will pick you up early in the morning (6:00 am in the summer and 5:15 am in the winter) and take you 15 minutes outside of town to the Valley of Prehistory where we will begin a 30 minute walk on the plains and another 30 minutes on the mountain before reaching a lookout point for the beautiful sunrise. As the sun rises and illuminates the dew covered flora, you will be greeted by the magical sounds of tropical birds as you enjoy a breakfast of fresh fruits, coffee, juices, toast, mountain honey and of course, enviable tranquility! As we trek down the mountainside you will be greeted by local farmers starting their work day.

Note: The hike is medium in difficulty. Guests are encouraged to wear athletic clothing, comfortable shoes for hiking, and mosquito spray. In the rainy season this tour is weather dependent because the slippery terrain makes the hike difficult and dangerous.

There is no need to be an expert rider as all of the horses are well trained, good shape, and well fed.
